Juli 2025 war unser Team des Digital Education Center auf dem Symposium reACTIVE 2025 vertreten, dem Symposium für Innovation in der Medizintechnik, Strukturwandel und Bildung in der Aachener Region. Als Weiterbildungsakademie der RWTH Aachen University engagieren wir uns seit drei Jahren im Projekt reACT - Resorbierbare Lösungen aus der Aachener Technologieregion mit einem besonderen Beitrag: Vertical 5 TechEducation. 🎓 In unserem Projekt entwickeln wir neue digitale Weiterbildungsformate auf akademischem Niveau für die Medizintechnologiebranche. Unsere Mission: › zukunftsorientierte Qualifikationsbedarfe erkennen › flexible Lernangebote mit Micro Credentials gestalten › praxisnahe und modulare Weiterbildung ermöglichen › berufliche und akademische Bildung stärker miteinander verbinden und die Anschlussfähigkeit verbessern Ein Treffen voller Austausch, Impulse und Zusammenarbeit mit Partnerinnen und Partnern aus Forschung, Wirtschaft und Politik zeigt: Qualifizierung und Weiterbildung sind der Schlüssel für eine erfolgreiche Transformation. 📣 Herzlichen Dank für die Organisation! Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen, einem kühlen Getränk und einem „Lean Six Sigma Green Belt“-Zertifikat in der Hand gratulieren und verabschieden wir unsere neuen Absolventinnen und Absolventen! In zwei Modulen haben die Teilnehmenden nicht nur wichtige Tools und Methoden des Lean Managements und Six Sigma erlernt, sondern auch ihr eigenes Verbesserungsprojekt während der Durchführung abgeschlossen. Jetzt heißt es erst einmal abschalten, die Sonne genießen und dann das neue Wissen anwenden. Für einige Teilnehmende geht es im September mit dem „Lean Six Sigma Black Belt” weiter. Our 2025 Summer Schools at RWTH International Academy have officially started! 🧡 We can't wait to welcome over 300 participants from around the world to beautiful Aachen! While benefiting from the excellent education at RWTH Aachen University, students can also explore Aachen's culture and create lasting memories. 😊 This year's Summer Schools kicked off on Monday with the Welcome Orientation of the programs "Robot Operating Systems Essentials" and "Artificial Intelligence in Industrial Applications." Afterwards, both student groups participated in the City Rallye in the city center to discover the best spots in Aachen. 👀 We can't wait to celebrate the beginning of an amazing summer filled with knowledge, inspiration, and creativity. We are looking forward to having a wonderful time and enjoying the wide variety of activities, including exciting laboratory visits, lectures, and social events. Let's make the most of this summer!
